About Us Balducci was a wine pioneer in the wholesale wine business in Missouri from 1946 - 1979. He introduced Missourians to many new brands and types of wines from the U.S. and around the world. He became highly respected as a wine specialist in St. Louis, and his reputation as a speaker and wine educator grew to include Missouri and the entire Midwest. Louis was associated with Balducci's Restaurant in St. Louis and with Rick and Carol Balducci's vineyards in Augusta until his death in 1995. We are still inspired by his enthusiasm for life and his love for family and friends. Today the tradition continues at Balducci Vineyards where you’ll find great food, great wine and great friends go hand in hand.
